An Update on Things

Not much exciting going on around here... well, not much I want to talk about

Still looking for work, like a lot of people, so I've been spending time chipping away at my gaming backlog and working on various other projects, including fan ones.

With that said, some big changes have taken place over at the Blue Shinra Project. First off, okamiblog, the Okami gameplay blog presented by myself, namatamiku, and CloudANDTidus, is dead and archived. Taking its place is a more general gaming blog run only by me (for now?), named Brain Scrap House, after my old column at the now-defunct Fantasy World XD.

Ficwise, AVALANCHE Chornicles is going strong; it's currently up to four chapters, and more will follow in the coming weeks. I've also added an omake section to Loveless which is fairly simple right now, but might be expanded into a more formal section sometime in the future.

Finally, I've been working on some new fanart as usual, but have no concrete idea when those pieces will go up

Just popping in to say Happy 2009! I hope all is well with everyone

Not much else to say here. The holidays were good, and now it's back to a more regular (and sane) routine. I don't know how often I'll be on dA this year, as I don't see myself doing much fanart in the near future, but I do plan on sticking around. If you're on LJ, feel free to follow me there.

I went away for the weekend only to find out that my subscription ran out. What sucks is that I never received any advance notice from deviantART about said sub ending.

So anyway, I renew it, then happen upon a thought and check the spam filter in Mail. Yep, the dA subscription activation email was in there.

Spam filters, don't ever change -_-

In other news, in case you haven't kept up with my LJ or the main BSP site lately, I've started a new fanfic epic, a sequel to Loveless titled Ghost Stories. No new fanart in the works right now, but I do have a couple of custom Pinkies to finish, so now that it's open-window season (for ventilation, of course ^_~), perhaps I'll work on those in my spare time.

Oh yeah, and I think I've got this dA CSS stuff sorted out

Two new fanart pieces are up today. Both of them are works which I started, then put aside for whatever reason, then both came back to recently. Hope you like them!

In other news, I've finally finished revising my huuuge Shinra epic Loveless! Details in tonight's BSP update.

For those of you who haven't been to the FFVII Citadel lately, I've recently stepped down as Webmaster, but remain on staff as the new News Editor. Taking my place at the helm is CloudANDTidus, who's a great guy and the head honcho of Fantasy World XD. Running the Cit was certainly fun, and I'll miss many aspects of it, but I felt it was time for me to move on.

Oh, and speaking of the Cit, the final theme is up. I put this one together to be extra-special; if you're a long-time visitor to the site, this one's for you ^_^

Thanks again to all the artists who contributed to the Citadel's 10th Anniversary celebration! I'm trying to fav/collect all the ones that show up on dA, so if I don't have yours yet, just drop me a line
